Debina Bonnerjee is an Indian television actress. She is popularly known
for her television role of Sita in television series Ramayan. She is
the wife of famous television actor Gurmeet Choudhary. Currently she is
seen playing the role of Mayuri Gomukh Narayan in the famous comedy show
Chidiya Ghar and also seen in Nach Baliye 6 alongwith her actor husband
Gurmeet Choudhary.
Biography
Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary was born on 18 April 1983 in kolkata where
she grew up and completed her education . During her childhood, She used
to attend dancing, drawing and singing class. She first appeared on
television as Sita in the television series Ramayan. Her role of Sita
was appreciated by the critics. After that she appeared in the reality
television show Pati Patni Aur Woh along with her husband Gurmeet
Choudhary.

Debina
Bonnerjee is married to Gurmeet Choudary, her co-star from Ramayan. She
met Gurmeet during her first stay in Mumbai when she began her career
as an actress. They were in a serious relationship for few years before
Gurmeet proposed to her in NDTV Imagine's Pati Patni aur Woh. On
February 15 2011, the couple finally tied the knot in a private ceremony
attended by only family and close friends.

Nach Baliye has reached to finale week and viewers are anxiously waiting
to find out the winner jodi of this season. The final contest is
between four couples, namely Rithvik Dhanjani-Asha Negi, Gurmeet
Choudhary-Debina Bonnerjee, Ripudaman Handa-Shivangi Verma, Vinod
Thakur-Raksha Thakur. Nach Baliye season 6 is coming to its end and
Gurmeet-Debina have reached to the top 4 alongwith Rithvik-Asha,
Ripu-Shivangi and Vinod-Raksha. Struggle, hard work, drama and strength
are words that describe their aura as a couple on this show. They have
come through well and are one of the stronger contestants that reflect a
win.
Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary would have to opt out of the dance reality show due to sudden injury to Debina. Gurmeet said, "Debina is one strong woman. She was not ready to reveal this to all and even our choreographers were scared for her. We are disappointed but despite the pain she wants to continue and says that if I could bear the pain for two weeks than we can do it for four more weeks without any break. Health comes first. We are consulting the doctor and going as per her advice completely. Debina is currently on medicines and she is wearing taping and a rib belt. The doc has also advised her physiotherapy and she has also put Debina on bed rest. We have spoken to the doctor who has given us a go-ahead to perform for Nach Baliye."

Performance
Gurmeet and Debina performed a Mawali dance in the first episode. About
the performance Debina said, "To do the mawali dance you do not need any
particular training. You look at people doing it on the road and you
are done. As for the Latin American dance form - no, I have never done
it before in my life. I always did think that I'd like to do it one day,
whenever I saw people doing it. And the time has come, finally." Their
performance is always praised by judges and Sajid Khan also claims that
they are one of the finalist of the show and deserves the Nach trophy.
Career
Debina started her career by participating in Ms.Calcutta and reached
the final 20, but then she was out in the first round. Instead of
returning home, She sat through it till the end just to see what the
winner had in her that she lacked. Afterwards Debina took part in other
contests like Lakme which she and Reshmi Ghosh won. The next year,
Debina took part in the Ms. Calcutta contest again and this time won.
From there she went to Mumbai to participate in the Ms. Bollywood
contest organized by Sahara. After Sometimes she signed her first movie
and then Debina immediately signed her next film with Shivraj Kumar in
Kannada and another in Tamil with Captian Vijaykanth. She was next seen
as Goddess Sita of Sagar Arts Ramayan on NDTV Imagine, opposite Gurmeet
who played Lord Ram. Post Ramayan Debina was seen in Pati Patni aur Woh
along with Gurmeet followed by reality shows such as Zor Ka Jhatka and
Star Ya Rockstar before settling down with Garima Productions Chidiya
Ghar on Sab Tv. Now, Debina is a household name not just as Devi Sita of
Ramayan, but also Mayuri Narayan of Chidiya ghar.

Ramayan was an Indian television series produced by Sagar Arts which
aired on NDTV Imagine from 2008 to 2009. She played the lead role of
Sita, Wife of Lord Ram and daughter of the earth goddess Bhumi and the
adopted daughter of King Janaka of Mithila.

Debina Bonnerjee is
playing the role of Mayuri Gomukh Narayan("Peacock") is the wife of
Gomukh. She has the quality of a peacock and is a skilled dancer in the
show Chidiya Ghar. She always does everything while dancing and
sometimes hurts someone in the family while dancing.
