Shaheer Sheikh jhansi ki rani 2014

Shaheer sheikh is an Indian television actor who is popularly known for his role Anant in Star Plus daily soap Navya. He also played Veer in Disney channel's show Kya mast hai life and Nana saheb in Zee tv's show Jhansi ki rani. Recently he was seen in Star Plus's show 'Teri meri love stories' playing a character named 'Nityanand Chaturvadi'.

Early Life

Shaheer sheikh was born on 26 march 1984 in Jammu & Kashmir. He did his schooling from Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Jammu. He is a law graduate from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune. Before becoming an actor he had worked as model too. He is an photographer as well.

Career

After graduating in bachelor's degree in law, he was working in pune. It's been only eight months when he got a call from his friend from mumbai who asked him to do an audition for a Disney channel show Kya mast hai life(2009-10). Having inhibitions in mind he went for audition and surprisingly got selected to play the role of 'Veer mehra' who is 17 years old and loves music. The show had made him popular among kids. As second season of Kya mast hai life had ended, Jhansi ki rani(2010) happened. He played Nana sahib in Jhansi ki Rani(2010) who was brother of female portagonist Jhansi.

Shaheer had done some random auditions. Seeing his auditions Swastik Pictures called him to do an audition for Anant character. After few screen tests they roped in him for playing male protagonist Anant in Star Plus show Navya (2011). Anant character was breakthrough in Shaheer's career. The character made him immensely popular among fans especially girls. Anant was an urban looking 19 years old boy who is having respect for his traditions. He falls for a girl Navya. Anant was very caring towards Navya and couldn't see her crying. Meanwhile he appeared in song Teri Palkey of A. M. Turaz video album Ek Ladki Shabnami Jaisi(2011). Alongside Anant, Shaheer also stints in Disney channel's show Best of luck Nikki - Season 1(2011). Recently he done one of the telefilm 'Honeymoon' in Star Plus show 'Teri meri love stories'(2012). He played Nityanand Chaturvadi who was a poor orphan and secretly loves his boss daughter Saloni. He was offered Sony channel show 'Love marriage or arrange marriage' but he shelved off the offer due to his personal comittments. Reportedly, he is playing Arjun in Star Plus forthcoming mythological venture Mahabharta which is supposed to be on-air in early 2013.

Personal Life

Shaheer sheikh was born in a Bhadarwah (Kashmir) and raised in Jammu . He is an Aries. His family member calls him 'Sameer'. He used to be mischeivous and loves playing video games, cricket and dancing in school-college's cultural functions. He is fond of swimming. He stated that he would run to swim seeing flowing water. His favourite actor is Salman khan and favourite movie is Andaaz apna apna.

In his college days, besides studies he would work. He would own a management company and organise shows. He has been a model and did some print ads. He has also worked with known photographers. Having worked with photographers helped him learning photography. He loves clicking pictures. He knows cooking and used to prepare masala corn at Navya sets. His collegous would love eating masala corn cooked by him. He loves writing poems and songs in idle. He is a big music buff. He stated he might move to composing music and releasing his music album also.

Kya mast hai life

Veer loves music. He treasures his guitar the most. The Titlis, mostly Kimmy have a crush on him,but he knows that. He is in the science stream and hates dramatics. His parents are doctors and want to make him a doctor too, but when he sees blood he faints. He has a good voice and sings with Ragini at the Fresher's party. He also writes his own lyrics. He is often roped into doing things he normally wouldn't have done,(like going on a date with the titlis) by Zeeshan, his best chady- budy friend.He is the only person who knows that Ragini can sing.He is the cool cute dude of red field academy.

Jhansi Ki Rani

Shaheer Sheikh plays the role of Nana Saheeb who is a biological son of Madhav Narayan Rao. Nana Sahib was brother of Manu(Rani lakshmi Bai). He pretends to be an ally of British saves the Rani and the Rani kills Nelson.

Navya

Anant is a 19-year old college boy who, on the surface, looks like any other urban boy. He has the latest clothes, car, and looks which any girl would fall for. But, deep down he is a traditionalist, a conformist who believes in the old-world values of joint families and arranged marriages. Unlike most of the teenagers of today's times, he reveres his grandfather and seems to have been brought up to respect his family’s traditions and to live by the rule book. His life before meeting Navya included following the path chalked out by his family. He did not think, even for a second, that he could fall in love.

Best Of Luck Nikki

Ritesh is 17 years old. He is Dolly's ex-boyfriend. At first, they started dating after they begin studying together. He and Popi share similar dancing abilities that rival each other, but they eventually become friends. Eventually, Ritesh finally watches a movie with Dolly showing that he truly cares about her. Later in the series Dolly knows that Ritesh cheated on her after Nikki bit Ritesh and she spotted him with his arm around Maya at his work.

Shaheer sheikh had performed in one song 'Teri Palkey' of A. M. Turaz video album Ek Ladki Shabnami Jaisi(2011). He had shot this song during early days of Navya.

Teri Meri love Stories

Nityanand is an orphan who works as an agent in Honeymoon Travels. Saloni, the daughter of the owner of the travel agency is married to Nityanand against her will. Saloni is in love with Sunil. She receives a rose every morning at her doorstep and thinks it is from Sunil. She and Nityanand go to The Venetian Macao for their honeymoon. Saloni learns that Sunil had rejected her due to her horoscope. She falls in love with Nityanand on learning that he is the one who gives her a rose every day.

Shaheer sheikh had particpated in Just Dance for celebrity special episode. He was Abhash parterner and had performed 'Lyrical hip-Hop' on song 'Kyun jalta is jahan se tu'

Diwali Rishton ka Mithas

Shaheer sheikh had anchored Star Plus show 'Diwali Rishton ka Mithas'-2011 along with Ragini Khanna and Rupal Patel. In the final episode Bollywood actor Shahrukh khan and Kareena Kapoor also attended the show tp promote movie 'Ra-One'. Srk pulls shaheer leg for flirting with kareena.

Mahabharat

Shaheer sheikh is playing Arjun in Mahabharat. Arjun is the central figure of the Mahabharat and a great archer. He was very handsome and well built. He was agile, energetic and had swift reflexes. Along with this he had a lot of integrity. These qualities make him an ideal warrior. Mahabharat is a saga of his courage!
