Punar Vivah Ek Nayi Umeed bids adieu to fans on November 29!
Despite a well-known casting of like Karan V. Grover, Shristy Rode, Parul Chauhan and Eijaz Khan, Zee TV’s family show Punar Vivah- Ek Nayi Umeed has failed to ring the ball on TRPs. Thus the channel has decided to pull off its curtain down.
It will air its last episode on 29 November and after that Spellbound Productions’ upcoming show Doli Armaanon Ki which will take the 10.30 pm slot. The new show will start from 2 December and it has Neha Marda, Mohit Malik and Siddharth Arora in lead roles.
Based on a thought-provoking theme of remarriage, Punar Vivah Ek Nayi Umeed happens to be the Season 2 of Punar Vivah starring Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar. It was started with full fanfare and a fresh story but did not succeed in getting huge numbers. When sources got in touch with an actor from the show, he has also confirmed about the closure of Punar Vivah on the basis of anonymity.
It is further added that the makers did start with a murder mystery track recently to up the ratings and infuse more drama, but the channel it seems, has taken the ultimate decision of pulling the plug off.
