Vikas Manaktala and Gunjan Walia deny being romantically involved 2014

A little birdie dropped us a nugget of info suggesting that Vikas Manaktala Hooda of Left Right Left fame, who has now made a comeback in the small screen space with Sony Entertainment Television show Main Naa Bhoolungi, might be romantically involved with his close friend Gunjan Walia, who is also rumoured to be making a small screen comeback very soon with a big project.

Gunjan was earlier seen in shows such like Saath Phere, Aisa Des Hai Mera, Kesar, among others.

Our sources also shared that Gunjan and Vikas spent some gala time recently ringing in the New Year.

Armed with this info, we decided to talk to both Vikas and Gunjan and find out if something indeed was cooking between the two.

Unfortunately or fortunately, both denied saying they are best of friends but not in love.

Here’s Vikas’ version: “Please don’t dwell too much on this as it will unnecessarily lead to problems between us. We are really good friends and not the ‘good friends’ what ‘in love couple’ profess to be, trust us. ”

Gunjan who has also done four Punjabi films (including Mar Jawan Gur Khake) on her part wondered as to how this so called link-up news is surfacing only now. “We have been hanging out together with our gang for quite a while now. So just because Vikas’ show is on air currently, some people are trying to stitch up a false story.”

Gunjan who has been single for over six years post her divorce with actor Sachin Verma is looking for love in 2014. “But by reading this false stuff about me and Vikas, the real guy who I want to have a thing with might run away (winks).”
