f‘Shubh Kadam’, the supernatural thriller produced by Cinevistaa will kick-off from early May on Sahara One
in a prime-time slot, but as reported, it will not be the
mother-daughter pair of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki Sakshi Tanwar and Tina
Parekh playing the lead roles!
Instead, the production house has roped in Nausheen Ali Sardar to play the elder bahu of the family, while Tina Parekh
plays the younger bahu. So what’s new about this serial? Well, in an
era of never-ending serials, here is ‘Shubh Kadam’ which will keep the
viewers entertained with a gripping story line packed with a mixed bag
of family drama, emotions and suspense in it, for just three months!
Telly Buzz team caught on with Nausheen Ali Sardar
who quipped, “Shubh Kadam is a typical power game between two bahus of
the family, portrayed by me and Tina. It has a very interesting story
track that will keep the viewers glued to it from episode one”.
Tina Parekh, on the other hand
is very excited that she is part of such a path-breaking serial which
provides her with a platform to portray various emotions in a span of
just three months. “It has a beautiful story line and I am happy to be
part of this project”, states Tina.
While the gorgeous ladies play the lead roles, Tarun Khanna will be seen cast opposite Nausheen Ali Sardar along with ‘Ghar Ek Sapna’ fame Ujwal Rana, who plays the character of the younger son of the house, and husband of Tina Parekh in the serial.
“This serial is something different from the long-running serials
wherein the actor is pushed to playing the same old characters for
years and years”, opines Tarun Khanna. However, Tarun feels that the
viewers take their own sweet time to get hooked to a new serial, and
this can be the only detrimental factor for Shubh Kadam. “I guess the
creatives should have given it a thought to take the serial for 5-6
months, rather than just 3 months”, states Tarun. Talking about his
character, Tarun says, “I play the lovey-dovey guy with a large heart.
I am the eldest son of the house and I dote on my family like
anything”. When asked whether money struggle between the brothers is
the ultimate reason for mystery in the track, Tarun was quick to say,
“Not at all. We are a family who has everything and we love each other
a lot. I will not reveal the suspense track, and that is for the
viewers to watch. But I can only say that, this story idea is something
that has never been tried in television so far”.
