Gulki Joshi, Nikkhil Chaddha and Tanushree Kaushal in Scaling Heights' next for Life OK? 2014

Director Imtiaz Punjabi’s debut show as Producer under the banner, Scaling Heights is all set to rock!! Our readers would be aware of the talented director making a love story based out in Punjab for the channel Life OK. Tellychakkar.com had earlier carried the exclusive news of Karam Rajpal being finalized to play the main lead.

We now have more details.

Gulki Joshi, who was last seen as the protagonist in Zee TV’s Phir Subah Hogi, will most likely play the female lead.

A reliable source tells us that the makers plan to start shoot in Chandigarh, Punjab in about 10 days time. The show which presently holds the tentative title ‘Waapsi’ will be a love story set in the backdrop of life in the army force.

A little birdie also whispered to us that Nikkhil Chaddha, who was last seen playing the role of Vihaan in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, has been offered the role of the negative lead, and he has most probably bagged it. Noted actress Tanushree Kaushal will play the mother’s role in the show.

We tried calling Gulki Joshi, but could not reach out to her.

Nikkhil told us, “I am not aware of such developments. I was in talks, but there is nothing finalized.”

We could not get through to Tanushree before filing our story.

Imtiaz’s show on Life OK is expected to go on air in February 2014.
