Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young’s TV series City Hunter will air in Japan.
On January 30, Japanese Fuji TV officially announced that they will air SBS’s series City Hunter.
As a result, Lee, Park, and KARA’s Goo Hara, who are very popular in Asia, are receiving a lot of attention from Japanese media outlets.
Fuji TV will air the series every weekday starting on February 6 through 29 at 2:00 p.m. They opened a website which tells fans the airing date for the series.
Japanese officials for the series say, “We are eagerly anticipating the series. The series is recognized as good and since it is based on a Japanese cartoon, many Japanese people will love the series as well as the actors after the series has aired.”
In addition, Lee is expected to help the series become popular because he has many fans in foreign countries. He appeared on the Chinese program, Que-Rak-Dae-Bon-Young, for a 90 minute ‘new year special’ program, which aired on January 14, and the show ranked first.
A spokesperson for Lee’s agency says, “After we decided to air the series in Japan, many people from many countries want to cast Lee for their programs. Lee is currently taking a break and considering his next job. Even though he can’t accept all the offers, he will take the time to see fans who love the series through promotions.”
