Another love triangle from Balaji Telefilms

Set to start: Priya Bathija as Afreen in the new soap ‘Khwaish’.

NEW DELHI: A brand new soap opera titled ‘Khwaish’, which has been shot in the picturesque desert city of Dubai, will be premiered on the Sony Entertainment Television this coming Monday.
Coming from the stables of Balaji Telefilms, the serial is about two Indian Muslim families settled in Dubai. Producer Ekta Kapoor has this time come out with an engaging love story that revolves around the life of a young girl Afreen.
The role of the protagonist is played by Priya Ashok Bathija, who is shown as the eldest daughter of Hadi (Ragesh Banwarilal Asthanaa).

A kind-hearted girl, who can never see others in pain, Afreen is very supportive of her family and is looked upon as the ‘son’ by her father and her entire family. Afreen loves life and life is Kabir (Sumeet Sachdev) for her.
A debonair young man, Kabir returns home after seven years of living overseas.
The eldest son of Shanawaz (Indraneel Bhattacharya), he is a very much a responsible and caring member of the Khan family.
His character is that of a down-to-earth man who goes all out to keep everyone in good spirits.
As fate would have it, Afreen and Kabir meet and soon get totally besotted with one other.
They finally tie the knot to settle down in life. But life has other things in store for them. An ugly turn of events shatters Afreen’s life completely and she finds herself in a dilemma whether she should marry Kabir’s younger brother Azaan.
‘Khwaish’ is about the grit and determination of young Afreen who only wished happiness for everyone and love for herself, but destiny had planned otherwise.
