تبدأ احداث المسلسل حول رجل غني تعيش معه اخته(لويزا ) المتزوجة والتي تريد السيطر على اموال اخيها فتقتل زوجته بشكل غير مباشر وتطرد الخادمة الهندية التي اصبحت حبيبة اخيها وهي حامل منه.
هي واخيها لديهم اخ آخر وهو مجرم وتطلب اخته منه القضاء على عائلة غنية وقد كانت تلك العائلة لديها حفل زواج ، فيذهب ويعمل مجزرة كبيرة ولم يبقى من تلك المجزرة إلا طفل في العاشرة من عمره والعروس التي تم الإعتداء عليها من القاتل.
فتقسم على الانتقام وتطلب من ابن اخيها ان يقسم ايضاً بأنه سينتقم.

تنجب الخادمة طفلة وتتوفى فتقوم صديقتها بتربية الطفلة مع طفلتها الثانية.
تمر السنون ويتوفى فيها والد البطلة ويطلب من محاميه البحث عن ابنته الوحيدة قبل وفاته ويتم الوصول اليها حيث كانت تعمل ممثلة لدمى .
يطلب منها الانتقال و العيش مع العائلة الكبيرة وتتكون من ( لويزا) وزوجها وابنتين وابن. طبعاً ( غودا لوبي ) كانت سعيدة لأنها اصبح لها عائلة.
اما البطل ( افريدوا) هو محامي في شركة مع محامي عائلة ( لويزا) الذى هو صديق والد( غودالوبي) ويملك وثيقة الميراث، وهو اليد المساعدة للسيدة ( لويزا) ايضاً.
وكان ( افريدوا)على علاقة غرامية مع الابنة الأكبر للويزا الذي يتركها لاحقاً ، عندما يعرف ( افريدوا) بوجود ابنة غير شرعية للعائلة ويكتشف بأنها المالكة لكل شيء.فيحاول التقرب منها .

كان اول لقاء بين البطلين في متجر قبل انتقالها الى المنزل الكبير.وقبل ان يعرف (افريدوا ) بأنها الوريثة.
تعاملها ( لويزا) بكره شديد كأنها خادمة ، ولم يكن يعاملها بلطف إلا الخادمة و المحامي وابنه الذي يقع في حبها وكذلك ( افريدوا) الذي يحاول التقرب منها بكل الطرق.
تقع ( غودلوبي ) في حبه ويتزوج منها ويعيشا شهر عسل جميل ، ولكن كانت عمته تتصل لتذكره بالإنتقام, وفي ليلة ينقلب انطونيو ويخبرها بكل شيء بشكل وحشي ويخبرها بكره لها والى عائلتها وهو تزوجها بدافع الانتقام فقط ، لم يحبها فهي قبيحة وعرجاء ويطردها بقسوة .
ثم يطردها من منزله ويرمى بها في الشارع ، واستمرت بالبكاء لفترة طويلة ، ثم عادت الى منزل مربيتها في حالة يرثى لها اما ( افريدوا ) عاد الى حبيبته الأولى.
