Tellychakkar earlier reported about the fall- out between Zee TV and Innovative 9 over the show Jhansi Ki Rani. The spat ultimately led to the production house�s departure from the channel. To the uninitiated, Innovative 9 was to produce the magnum opus Jhansi ki Rani for Zee TV. Now the dream project has been handed over to Contiloe telefilms. And if sources are to be believed then the channel has finalised the lead face of the show.

When contacted, Rohini Hattangidy confirmed the news and said, �Yes, I was offered the role of vahini in Contiloe�s Jhansi Ki Rani. But I had to refuse it on personal grounds. They are going to shoot at Karjat and I wouldn�t be able to manage it.�
Reportedly, Kratika was to play Rani in Innovative 9�s Jhansi Ki Rani. An indifferent Chandan N Singh, said, �I do not know anything about it as I have not signed any NOC with any actors. I can assure you that my show will be bigger and better.�
