Kratika Sengar’s Wild Horse Woes – Samir Dharmadhikari to the rescue!

At a recent shoot of Zee TV’s historical saga Jhansi Ki Rani, actress Kratika Sengar and co-star Samir Dharmadikari were required to ride a horse and set off on a wild chase. As is the case always, the horse was well-trained to ensure the actors’ safety. However, after the take was okayed, Kratika continued to ride some more for the sheer joy of it! Exhausted from the sweltering heat, Samir had just got off his horse and was about to head to his vanity van. It was at this point, sources reveal, that Kratika panicked realizing that she couldn’t get her horse to halt. On a rough, uneven terrain, the horse began galloping faster and faster though the actress made attempts to stop it. Worried that she could get thrown off the horse at that speed, Kratika began screaming!

Without wasting a minute, Samir jumped right back on to his horse and rushed in Kratika’s direction. Once close enough, he realized Kratika had confused the signals and was maneuvering the reins in a manner such that the horse would begin galloping even faster. Taking complete charge of the horse in one deft stroke, Samir managed to stop it. A visibly shaken Kratika said, “I’ve learnt my lesson. No ‘horse-riding for fun’ unless I know my way around the reins like the back of my hand. Thank god, Samir managed to get to my horse on time … God alone knows what would’ve happened if I was thrown off the horse!” Now that Samir has been the hero and saved your life, do we see just a hint of romance on the sets of Jhansi Ki Rani?
