"I fell off my bike during a chase sequence. I slipped and hurt my right hand," Himanshu told IANS on the sidelines of a shoot.
'Champ’ is aired on UTV's Bindass channel and is a bi-weekly. The show that caters to the young audience features stunts hardly seen on Indian television.
Himanshu, who had a narrow escape, feels the show has been hard on him.
"The show has been physically very tasking, my entire body is hurting because of the rigorous shooting schedule”
"The USP of the show is its stunts. We will also have stoppies and wheelies among other stunts," added Himanshu.
Shedding light on his character, he said, "My character is that of a rich, spoilt brat who knows no limits."
The show will also pack in its share of love and romance with model-turned-actress Arohi Mishra, who was the winner of reality show ‘Get Gorgeous (2004)’ as the object of desire between the two male protagonists - Himanshu and Ajay Singh Chaudhary.
Arohi, 22, plays a rugged and tuff biker girl in the show and says her character's entry changes the atmosphere of the show.
"Before my character comes on the scene, Raj (Himanshu) and Dhruv (Ajay) are best friends. But, after I am introduced in the show, the duo have a fight due to some misunderstanding and that is where the story takes a turn," she said.
